Continued monitoring of tobacco sales data can provide perception into potential adjustments in use patterns and inform tobacco prevention and liquidsaromen control efforts. Vaping poses a menace to smoking prevention progress, and it is important for those in tobacco management to know and counter the tactics used by vaping corporations to entice their shoppers, particularly on social media the place younger folks can easily view the content. DemographicsPro uses propriety algorithms to infer demographic characteristics of social media customers in response to their social media behavior.

Along with inferring the demographic characteristics of the followers of the vape-related Twitter handles, DemographicsPro supplies Twitter benchmark values for comparison purposes. We descriptively compared the inferred demographic characteristics of followers of the four Twitter handles with the Twitter median average.

The variety of followers in November 2014 of 4 common Twitter handles that marketed vaping-associated products ranged from nearly 2,000 to greater than 100,000 ( Table 2).

In contrast, the marijuana vape pen audience was disproportionately black or ezigarettensale Hispanic.

We aggregated knowledge in 4-week periods for the forty eight contiguous states and the District of Columbia for the 5-year interval from 2012 via 2016. Data from vape outlets and web gross sales weren't available.
